Description

This box tells all the complexity of Piedmont of which the Barolos of the Damilano winery remain undisputed emblems.

Barolo Brunate is a pure Nebbiolo from the Municipality of La Morra which, after having fermented for 20 days, refines in wood for at least 24 months. Garnet red in color with orange reflections, it offers hints of violets, delicate red fruits and balsamic aromas to the nose; with an intense and persistent flavor, it manifests all its elegance with ripe and tertiary red fruits of licorice and tobacco that hint at truffles and cinnamon over time. Amazing with truffle risotto, it accompanies red meats in a masterly way.

Barolo Cannubi comes from soils particularly rich in sand that grant the wine intense and varied aromas. The wine ferments for 20 days and ages in wood for at least 24 months. Ruby red garnet color, unfolds fruity notes of cherry and plum, hints of cocoa, licorice and tobacco. Well-worked tannins for a full-bodied, persistent and very concentrated wine. Pasta with meat sauce, game and stewed meats enhance it.

Barolo Cerequio comes from the hills of La Morra with an altitude of around 320 meters above sea level and the particular composition of the soil makes it one of the most robust wines of the entire production. After having fermented for 20 days and aged in fine wood for at least 24 months. A garnet red color with orange reflections heralds tertiary still evolving with a good recognition of ripe red fruits and notes of tobacco and leather to finish and balance. On the palate it is complex, enveloping, rich, of great impact with notes of vanilla well harmonized with respect to the fruity component and the freshness of licorice. It goes well with platters of cured meats and perfects traditional Piedmontese dishes based on red meats and game.
