Moscow Mule is a cocktail prepared with vodka , ginger beer and lime juice. It is a long drink belonging to the Buck family, a cocktail based on ginger ale or ginger beer, with a moderately low alcohol content. Born in the 1940s, it is today one of the most popular cocktails in the world. It is officially recognized and codified by the IBA ( International Bartenders Association ), which has included it in the category of "contemporary classics".
